SparkClips came out of the part of editing that feels most wasteful: scanning too much footage just to locate the moments that already feel promising. By the time the good parts are identified manually, the real review work has barely started.

What The App Tries To Do

The goal is not to make the final creative decision automatically. It is to narrow the search space. If the app can surface likely strong moments early, the review stage can spend more time choosing and shaping instead of hunting.

Where The Difficulty Is

Moment scoring is easy to overstate. Technical signals can help, but they are not the same thing as actual impact. The system has to support judgment rather than pretending it can replace it.

The Current Push

The current pass is about trust. The review flow needs to feel cleaner, the recommendations need to feel less mechanical, and the whole app needs to make it easier to say yes or no to a clip without second-guessing the tool itself.
